We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a dear friend and local councillor Michael Creed MCC .
Since the formation of Laochra Óg Hurling & Camogie Club Michael gave generously of his time and services to help in getting the development of the club grounds to where it is today as he did for every local development. Those who knew Michael personally knew the character and a half he really was , always there and lifted everyone's spirits in his company .
Our thoughts and prayers are very much with the Creed family at this very difficult time .
We'll see you later Beardy .
