The next layer of the transformation is all about comfort.

Underfloor heating pipework is being laid throughout the house, ready to distribute consistent warmth across the new spaces while supporting the improved energy performance of the retrofit.

Soon, this entire system will disappear beneath the finished floor - but its impact will be felt every day.

The transformation at Claremont Pines continues from the inside out.
This stage focuses on internal wall insulation - upgrading the thermal performance of the existing house and creating a more comfortable, efficient home for the long term.

Because in a deep retrofit, the layers you don’t see matter just as much as the ones you do.
Follow the journey.

Another important stage of our Claremont Pines, Dublin project: completing the roof.

With the structure of the extension taking shape, our team is now focused on the roofing and finishing details that help protect the home for years to come.

From carefully positioning the roof tiles to completing the edges, junctions and drainage details, every part of the roof needs to be installed accurately and securely.

Good roofing is about more than appearance. It plays an important role in protecting the building from the elements, supporting long-term durability and contributing to the overall performance of the finished home.

This is another key stage in the extension and deep retrofit renovation, bringing the project one step closer to the finished result.

Another important stage of our Claremont Pines, Dublin project: the installation of the steel beams.

As the new extension takes shape, structural steelwork is introduced where additional support is required. These beams are designed to carry and transfer loads safely, allowing for larger openings and changes to the existing structure while maintaining the stability of the building.

Each beam is carefully positioned and secured in accordance with the structural design, ensuring that the new extension and the existing home work together as one strong, integrated structure.

Although much of this work will eventually be concealed within the finished build, these structural elements play a crucial role in the strength, safety and long-term performance of the renovation.

Another key step completed in this extension and deep retrofit renovation.

Follow along as we continue the transformation of this Claremont Pines home.
