A product we love - Gravel Grids! 👌🏼

These grids are a simple and incredibly effective solution for keeping loose chippings in place on driveways, patios and pathways. The honeycomb-shaped cells hold the gravel securely in place, preventing stones from spreading, shifting or forming ruts.

Simply lay the grids before installing your chippings for a firmer, more stable surface with minimal maintenance. No more scattered stones, tyre tracks or uneven patches!

A look at some recently completed customer patios, with our porcelain paving looking especially well in the Autumn sunshine ☀️
This porcelain is a brilliant option all year round. It’s non-porous, easy to clean and won’t be affected by wet leaves, dirt or the usual Irish weather. We also love the tidy slot drains used on this patio. They help water run off quickly without taking away from the clean finish. A closer look at the details that make a patio work 👌🏼

Here, the porcelain paving has also been used to create the steps from the house down onto the patio. Using the same product across both helps create a nice flow from the inside of the home out into the patio area.

You’ll also notice the slot drain running along the step. This is a very narrow drainage system designed to take excess water away from the patio, without a large or obvious drain taking away from the finish. A small detail, but an important one in the Irish climate when rain can come quickly and heavily!

Donegal slate building stone. A really unique stone that gives a distinctive style to any home or project. Donegal Slate is charcoal to dark grey in colour, with a rough, layered and uneven texture.

Unlike more traditional building stone, which commonly comes in 4-inch square blocks, slate naturally splits into flatter, slab-like pieces. These are stacked horizontally by the stonemason, creating that recognisable layered finish.

Every project can look a little different depending on how the stonemason works and fits the stone. A gorgeous choice for all kinds of builds, and definitely one worth seeing in person.
