⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A huge thank you to Jean for the fantastic review! 💚

It was a pleasure transforming Jean’s back garden by removing the existing water feature and replacing it with a beautiful medium slate stacked urn, creating a stunning focal point in the garden. 🌿💧

The natural slate finish blends beautifully with the surrounding garden, bringing movement, the relaxing sound of flowing water, and a touch of tranquillity to the space.

I’m delighted that Jean is so happy with the finished result, and I really appreciate her kind words about the care and attention that went into the project. Protecting the garden and leaving everything clean and tidy is just as important to me as creating a feature that looks beautiful.

Thank you again, for trusting BK Ponds & Waterscapes with your garden and for taking the time to share your experience. 🙏

✨ From unused to unmistakable. 💧

This project was all about replacing an existing, unused water feature with something more natural, understated and better suited to its surroundings.

The old feature was removed and the area prepared from the ground up — including digging through existing concrete foundations, levelling the base and installing a reservoir to house the pump.

At the centre of the new feature is a beautiful slate stacked urn, sitting over the reservoir and surrounded by carefully placed cobbles and natural river pebble. A fountain light in the top of the urn brings the feature to life after dark, while spotlights positioned around the base illuminate the slate and water from below. ✨

The finished result is a feature that feels like it belongs in the landscape rather than simply being placed into it.

And the best part? I can't wait to see how this one matures as the surrounding planting establishes. 🌿

Another little transformation by BK Ponds & Waterscapes.

The first pond I ever built. 🌿💧
This project will always hold a special place in my heart.
Catherine and Pat were kind enough to take a chance on me and trust me with my very first pond build. From the very beginning, they were absolutely lovely people to work with, and I’ll always be grateful that they gave me that opportunity.
Catherine had always wanted to create a wildlife pond, inspired in part by the pond her mum had before she passed away. The goal was to create a natural space that would bring wildlife, birds and nature into the garden — and it has been incredible to see how quickly the pond has come to life. I'm already looking forward to the next trip back to see how it evolves!
And of course, the pond has three beautiful black German Shepherds keeping a close eye on things too! 🐾
A huge thank you to Catherine and Pat for believing in me, trusting me with my first build and for the wonderful review. It means more than you know.
This pond was the beginning of BK Ponds & Waterscapes — and I couldn’t have asked for a better first project or better clients. 💚

Before BK Ponds and Waterscapes existed, there was a childhood shaped by nature.
Water, wildlife, natural spaces and reluctant trips to garden centres were just part of everyday life. Ponds weren't water features... they were places to learn and explore. Watching fish, tadpoles and dragonflies, listening to water flow and seeing nature thrive... that stuff sticks with you.
I never thought it would lead me to where I am now
