For Theodosia - Respect, artist Huang Yulong drew inspiration from a silent, powerful gesture of care and respect between an adult and a child at a street art festival. Bringing together hip-hop iconography, relaxed hoodies, and athletic wear, the sculpture translates the raw energy of the streets into a timeless statement of human connection.

Reaching nearly 60 centimeters in height, the main character gently leans toward the child in an intimate posture that honors the bonds within creative communities.

Limited to 100 unrepeatable works worldwide, this new Lladró Art Editions explores human connections, mutual care and understanding through the aesthetic language of the street. Inspired by a tender moment of guidance observed at a street art gathering and named after the emotional theme from the musical Hamilton, Theodosia - Respect depicts two characters in sportswear and sneakers in a fluid pose.

Born in Aichi and based in Kamakura, Oson’s career bridges commercial powerhouses and international fine art exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and America. Fusing Japanese lacquer aesthetics and Western denim icons, his vision finds a permanent, global home in porcelain.

In his collaboration with Lladró, Jun Oson brings together traditional craft and contemporary visual codes through two complementary creations. While the large Limited Edition highlights the deep, mirror-like luster of traditional Japanese lacquerware with custom pink bone motifs on a glazed black background, the Little edition explores Western denim culture through indigo tones, stitching, and gold accents.

Hand painted by master artisans at the Valencia headquarters, both versions reflect Oson's direct graphic language and complete a global dialogue between Eastern technique and Western urban art.
