In the narrow lanes of old Lucknow, where windows stay open to catch the afternoon breeze and conversations drift from one courtyard to another, we found a craft that still shimmers the way it once did. Mukaish, an art almost as delicate as starlight, made by twisting fine metal threads into cloth until it glows with magic. And at the centre of it all sits Shabana ji.
