Every part of this living room had a purpose.

While planning the layout, we thought about how the family would use the space throughout the day. Each area needed to feel like a place of its own, while still connecting naturally with everything around it.

Getting the planning right on paper is what helped the finished space come together so well.

Some spaces make a statement. Others tell a story. ✨

We design the kind that do both.

At Nine Cubes Interiors, we believe the magic lies in the unexpected — bold combinations, considered details, distinctive textures and pieces that feel collected, not copied. Every element has a purpose. Every corner has a personality.

Not designed to follow trends. Designed to feel timelessly, unapologetically you.

Some of our longest discussions are about the smallest things.

A finish that needs another look. A texture that doesn’t feel quite right. Something that worked on paper but needs another look on site.

There’s plenty of back and forth with the team to get these details right. It takes patience, but each of these decisions shapes how the space eventually comes together.

Ever had a good year and thought, “Okay, we’ve got this now?”

We’ve had those moments. Then something changes, and we find ourselves rethinking plans and opening up to new possibilities.

Moving on from those plans takes time, especially when we’ve put so much into them. But everything that went well and everything we’ve learnt gives us something to build on.

Sharing this because we know we’re not the only ones finding our feet again. We’re grateful for how far we’ve come and excited about what’s ahead.

We planned this corner beyond today.

In this son’s bedroom, we wanted to leave room for the life around the bed, too. A corner he’d enjoy spending time in today, with the flexibility to stay useful as his needs change.

The curved edges, warm wood and soft lighting came later, once we knew how this space could fit into everyday life.

Save this for when you’re planning your son’s bedroom.

Just another day of site visits, interior design, material selections, design detailing, drawings, ex*****on, and turning ideas into reality.

A foyer is not just a passageway. It is the first thing that tells you who lives in a home.

But a foyer doesn’t need a grand entrance hall to exist. If the layout allows, even a small stretch between the main door and the living area can become one. A slight setback, a wall that guides you in, or a corner that isn’t doing much can be turned into a defined entry with the right planning.

In this design, we used the available space to carve out a proper foyer instead of letting the door open straight into the living room. Curved forms soften the transition and guide movement naturally. Soft tones and natural textures keep the space calm and warm. Handcrafted details add character, so the first impression feels personal and considered.

Some things to check before adding a foyer to your own home:

1. Is there enough depth between the entrance and the main living area?
2. Can a partition, niche, or curved wall define the zone without blocking light?
3. Is there room for a console, seating, or storage without crowding the path?

The right design can make even a compact entry feel intentional and complete.

Save this for when you plan your own entryway.
