COMAR: a story of innovation, design and passion for sailing. ⛵
It all began in 1961 in Forlì, Italy, when the Sipla shipyard started producing Flying Junior dinghies in fiberglass.
At the time, fiberglass construction was still in its early stages in the boating industry, making this a pioneering venture.

In 1971 came the Comet 910, designed by Van de Stadt and Jean-Marie Finot.
A yacht destined to make history: competing in the Middle Sea Race with Cino Ricci at the helm, it achieved a remarkable victory on corrected time, outperforming much larger and more prestigious yachts.
