The challenge was not to compete with what was already there, but to introduce something new with clarity and restraint.

The pool follows the geometry of the site, while the surrounding stone, terraces and mature landscape remain part of the composition.

We don’t believe a restoration should erase the passing of time.

For us, the beauty lies in allowing different periods to exist together. Original beams, stone doorways and old proportions remain part of the story, while contemporary elements are introduced without pretending to belong to another century.

The new does not need to imitate the old.
It needs to respect it.

That balance is at the heart of how we approach restoration.
