101 COPENHAGEN: THE DAIKU DINING CHAIR & LOUNGE CHAIR IN NEW COLORS

The Daiku Dining Chair and Lounge Chair introduce two new shades, Desert and Peat, bringing a new dimension of warmth, texture and understated sophistication to the collection.

Upholstered in 100% wool velvet, the chairs combine a rich tactile quality with a distinctive architectural silhouette. Inspired by modular architecture and the rhythm of stacked forms, their sculptural design brings together two interlocking volumes — the seat and backrest — creating a subtle floating effect that balances visual solidity with a sense of lightness.

Desert embraces a softer, warmer aesthetic, while Peat reveals a deeper, more contemplative character, blending smoky brown and dark grey tones inspired by damp earth, weathered wood and ancient forests after rain.

With gently rounded edges, layered foam construction and minimal visible stitching, Daiku unites architectural precision with inviting comfort — a refined statement for both residential and contract interiors.

The new OUT 2026 collection by Wall&deco

The inhabited shade. There is a time of day when architecture slows down. The sun becomes warmer, shadows grow deeper, and outdoor spaces turn into places of comfort, contemplation and conn ection.

From this atmosphere comes the new OUT 2026 collection by Wall&decò. Inspired by the textures and colours of Mediterranean landscapes, the collection explores the dialogue between light and matter through four distinctive outdoor designs. Fresco-like surfaces, textured plaster, woven cane patterns and soft textile effects transform walls into architectural backdrops that enrich the outdoor experience.

A refined palette of clay, sand, natural fibres and woven greys brings warmth, depth and authenticity to exterior environments.
The collection includes graphics developed specifically for the application on OUT System, Wall&decò’s, technical wall covering for outdoor areas, offering new creative possibilities for residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

101 Copenhagen presents the Nama chair in Desert wool velvet

Introducing the Nama Lounge Chair, Nama Dining Chair and Nama Armrest Dining Chair upholstered in the new Desert wool velvet.

Inspired by the refined simplicity of traditional Japanese stick chairs, the Nama collection combines sculptural wooden lines with thoughtful details and tactile comfort. Crafted from FSC-certified American Red Oak and finished in deep Coffee Black Oak, each chair is defined by the contrast between its strong, architectural frame and soft upholstered elements.
Paired with the profound, dark character of Coffee Black Oak, the material combination creates a harmonious dialogue between strength and softness, where natural structure meets the calm warmth of sunlit earth.

From relaxed living spaces to intimate dining settings, the new Desert upholstery brings a warmer and softer expression to the Nama collection.

BROKIS HEADS TO DESIGNBLOK
BROKIS will once again take part in DesignBlok, Prague’s contemporary design festival, continuing a tradition that began in 2010. From 7 to 11 October, the brand will present its latest collections at Trade Fair Palace as well as a monumental lighting installation in the historical city centre.

This year’s theme is “Light”, and it will feature prominently throughout the BROKIS presentations. At Trade Fair Palace, the festival’s main venue, visitors will discover selected new releases, including Arcade by Boris Klimek, which combines the elegance of classic chandeliers with a contemporary aesthetic, and the new Starcloud wall and table light by Lucie Koldova, which expands the possibilities for incorporating this successful collection into interior design.

Jan Palach Square will be illuminated by Beacon, a lighting installation designed by Lee Broom and brought to life by BROKIS. One of the leading international guests at this year’s DesignBlok, the British designer will visit Prague to present this distinctive installation, inspired by London street lamps and the Brutalist architecture of the South Bank. Originally created for London Design Festival 2025 and subsequently presented at Milan Design Week this spring, BEACON will make its Czech debut at DesignBlok, lighting up the square in front of the Rudolfinum throughout the festival.

Lee Broom will also speak at the DesignBlok Talks conference as part of the BEACON presentation. One of the programme’s leading guests, he will join a line-up of Czech and international architects, designers, and other experts. His talk will take place on Wednesday, 7 October, at the newly renovated Industrial Palace at Výstaviště Praha.
