Project Progress | Little Heath

Construction has just started on site in Grouville for 7 new family homes.

After unanimous planning approval earlier this year, it’s great to see this one moving from drawings to reality.
We’re looking forward to watching it take shape and sharing progress along the way.

Congratulations to our Director, Graham, and Associate, Bradley, on both achieving the NOCN Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings.

Jersey’s historic buildings, from granite farmhouses to traditional townhouses, were built differently and need a different approach. This qualification covers how to understand these buildings, weigh up energy efficiency options and recommend upgrades that improve performance without compromising their character.

Above Gorey Harbour, Pont de Passerelle was shaped by a simple brief: a clean, crisp dwelling.

From the road, the house is modest. Twin gables in standing-seam metal sit above white render and a textured white stone base. Its scale stays in keeping with the street.

On the harbour side, the house opens up. It steps down the slope across several levels. Deep cantilevered terraces and frameless glass balustrades keep the views of the bay and castle uninterrupted.

Inside, the same restraint carries through: a vaulted ceiling, herringbone oak floors and wide sliding glazing that brings the harbour into everyday living.

A home with a crisp, considered form, made for its setting.

Jersey Architecture Week 2026

Our entry for this year’s AJA Open Exhibition, ‘A Sense of Place’ was our St Joseph’s Over-55s Housing project.

Located on a steep and wooded hillside, the landscape ultimately led the design. Buildings sit within existing clearings and root protection zones and step with the contours. Curved balconies and decks bend away from the tree canopy, and an undulating roof echoes the treeline behind.

The construction approach follows the same idea. Lightweight SIPS panels are made off site, posts sit on screw piles or pads to protect tree roots, and sedum roofs and muted timber help the buildings settle into the woodland.

This results in a community that feels rooted in St Joseph’s rather than imposed upon it.

Our submission is on show at ArtHouse Jersey, Capital House, until tomorrow (Sat 3 Oct, 5pm). Entry is free.

Planning Approval | Union House

We’re delighted to share that our proposals for Union House have been approved.

This scheme transforms a dated, partly vacant office tower on the corner of Union Street and Le Geyt Street into an 89-room hotel which will bring much-needed visitor accommodation into the heart of St Helier and a landmark building back into full use.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Melrose, St. Brelade

11 new family homes for Melrose Homes Jersey

We designed a scheme of 3 & 4-bed houses that puts community first, where every home opens onto a central, tree-lined green, with cars tucked away so the streetscape stays for people, not parking.

Pale and dark larch cladding sits alongside Jersey granite walling, with mature trees on site retained as a natural backdrop. Solar panels, EV charging and high energy performance ratings included in the design for long-term family living.
