🔨 Assistant / Trainee Wanted – BathroomBuilder.je

I’m looking for a reliable and motivated person to join BathroomBuilder.je as an assistant/trainee.

The role would involve working alongside me on complete bathroom renovations and learning a wide range of skills along the way, including:

• Tiling
• Carpentry and general building work
• Decorating
• Bathroom installation
• Rip-outs and preparation work

Previous experience in the building trade would be useful, but it’s not essential. I’m more interested in finding someone who is reliable, hardworking, willing to learn and takes pride in doing a job properly.

This would suit someone looking to learn a trade and develop their skills through hands-on experience.

You’ll need to be punctual, presentable and comfortable working in customers’ homes.

Good rate of pay depending on age and experience.

If you’re interested, please send me a private message with a little bit about yourself, any experience you have and why you’re interested in the role.

Please feel free to share. 👍

It was a pleasure to return to this customer’s home to complete the second bathroom renovation in their property. Even better, we finished the project ahead of schedule.

As always, we use only high-quality materials and never rush the job. We take pride in our workmanship, ensuring every detail is completed to the highest standard to create a bathroom that’s built to last.

Thank you for your continued support.

Paul

Proud Moment! 🎉

Here’s something that arrived in the post today after a couple of years of hard work behind the scenes.

It involved travelling to London several times, staying away for a week at a time for intensive training, sitting exams, and spending countless hours studying at home (with plenty of head-scratching along the way!).

I’m also proud to say that I passed six of the exams with distinction.

Gaining this qualification means I can offer an even greater level of knowledge and expertise to my customers, while relying less on others to provide the same high standard of service.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed the challenge, and the learning certainly doesn’t stop here. I’m already looking at what course to take next.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way.

Paul 😁

Here’s another great example of the work I undertake week in, week out.

We place just as much emphasis on the quality of the build and the materials we use as we do on the finished appearance. Every project is completed to the highest standards, using quality products and proven installation methods.

We never rush a job. We take the time to do things properly, ensuring every detail is right so that when we walk away, we know the finished result will not only look fantastic but will stand the test of time.

Here are a few photos from our latest shower room installation, featuring an easy-access shower, dual fuel towel radiator, wall-hung basin unit, heated mirror with integrated lighting, and a back-to-wall toilet for a clean, modern finish with all pipework concealed.

We’ve also added porcelain wall tiles and a feature tiled floor which really complete the room and give it a fantastic overall finish.

Every aspect of the installation was completed to a high standard using quality materials and careful attention to detail, ensuring a finish designed to look great and stand the test of time.

It was a pleasure working for our customers on this project and we look forward to returning to carry out further work for them in the near future.

Thanks,
Paul

Here are a few photos from our latest bath/shower room installation.

This project required a great deal of planning and careful consideration due to the roof and ceiling layout, which placed some limitations on what could be achieved. By taking the time to get the design right from the outset, we were able to make the most of the available space and deliver a clean, well-balanced finish.

The design was put together by Jade at Pentagon’s design studio—my go-to expert when it comes to creating practical, well-thought-out bathroom layouts.

This room has now been handed over to the customer today, while we continue making progress on the second shower room within the property.

We don’t take on a high volume of bathrooms each year, but the ones we do complete are finished to the highest standard. Our work is priced accordingly, allowing us the time to focus on quality without rushing, while still ensuring our customers receive excellent value for money.

Thanks

Paul

Here are a few photos of a shower room we recently completed for a very nice customer, who has since asked us to return and install another bathroom in our next available slot.

It’s always a great feeling when customers invite us back to carry out more work — it’s a good sign that the service and quality we provide is appreciated.

We never rush our projects, and our focus is always on quality over quantity.

This one features XXL format tiles paired with a light blue / turquoise feature wall, creating a calm, bright space that still makes a statement. The bathroom is finished with a wall-hung basin unit and wall-hung WC, keeping everything looking clean, modern, and easy to maintain.

Big tiles aren’t just about looks either – fewer grout lines mean a cleaner finish and less ongoing maintenance.

There’s also a small detail most people would never notice, but one that takes careful planning: the grout line running along the top of the boxing above the basin and the bath. Getting this right avoids ending up with tiny slivers of tile, which never look good. A lot of thought went into the layout long before a single tile was cut.

We also popped back today to finish off fitting some new doors. Hanging doors isn’t something we normally take on, but as we’d already completed the bathroom for the customer, we were more than happy to help out and see the job finished properly.

Helps as well that the customer is absolutely lovely… and very generous with the cups of tea ☕️

I’ve got a full diary for the foreseeable, however if you’re looking for a no-rush, quality build and are happy to wait, please do get in touch.

Thanks

Paul
