Resort - Architectural Proposal

SĀHEL — Coastal Dwelling, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

SĀHEL is conceived as a quiet architectural response to the landscape of Saadiyat Islan, a low, horizontal residence.

The architecture is deliberately restrained. A continuous white aluminum-clad roof plane appears to float above a tactile composition of off-white brick, creating deep shade while emphasizing the house’s long horizontal relationship with the coastline. Fine shadow gaps, recessed joints, and precisely detailed edges give the seemingly simple volume its architectural depth.

Rather than adopting the conventional palette associated with contemporary Gulf villas, SĀHEL explores a more monolithic and tactile architectural language. The pale brick and aluminum respond to Abu Dhabi’s intense sunlight, while generous overhangs provide shade and protection from the coastal climate.

Landscape is treated as an extension of the architecture rather than decoration. Native-inspired coastal planting, sand, palms, and low vegetation allow the residence to sit quietly within Saadiyat’s natural setting, where the island’s white beaches and coastal ecosystem form an important part of its identity.

Recording Studio - Concept Design
Designed around the ritual of making music.

I wanted the space to feel collected rather than decorated. Records on the shelves, instruments left within reach, cables on the floor, warm light against stainless steel and concrete. A place that can be quiet one minute and completely alive the next.

The materials are deliberately raw and straightforward, with the blue carpet and warmer details giving the room its character.

More than a studio to record in, I wanted it to feel like somewhere you’d actually want to hang out after the session is over.

This surf shack is a design proposal for a great surf school Board'n'Surf Lebanon

A simple space by the beach where you can grab a board, rinse off after a session, watch the waves from the rooftop, and spend time with people a like.

No egos. No pressure. Just great instructors, good surfers, good laughs, and a community that's always happy to welcome another face into the lineup.

Every little detail was imagined to make surf days even better.
