We are deeply saddened to just hear of the passing of Mary Heilmann, a pioneering artist whose bold abstract compositions and masterful use of color helped redefine contemporary painting.

A cherished figure in the Hamptons creative community, her work embodied optimism, curiosity, and a unique sense of place. As an interior design studio fortunate to work on projects in the Hamptons, we have always admired the artistic energy that she helped cultivate and inspire.

Her legacy will live on through the countless artists, designers, and collectors influenced by her vision.

Rest in peace, dear Mary Heilmann. 💙
