This is one of the more interesting projects we worked on this year.
The apartment starts with an entrance hall that leads directly into the kitchen, so one of the first steps was to subtly define this transition. The kitchen was intentionally separated from the living area, as the clients preferred a more defined layout rather than an open concept.
The existing living area was reorganized into three functional zones: a spacious lounge area, a dining area and a small corner dedicated to freelance work.
Since the clients had different style preferences, the goal was to find a balance between them. Taupe and beige tones, black surfaces, wood and brown walls create warmth while keeping the different elements visually connected. Graphic shapes are carried throughout the apartment, while wallpapers featuring nature inspired motifs add character and bring more life into the space.
