𝗠 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮. Where our shared story began, around a common vision for the future Hunnu City.
𝗠 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟯. The thirteenth letter of the alphabet, and a nod to the number anonymously assigned to our team, which went on to win the international competition against entries from around the world.
𝗠 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Because what brings us together is precisely this intent: to support territories in transformation without ever imposing a model on them, starting from what they are to imagine, with them, what they can become.
𝗠, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 « 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 », 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. In our Latin languages it lies at the heart of aime, aimer, amore, amor.
A nod to the way we design. We believe you first have to love a territory in order to transform it: love its culture, its landscapes, its resources, its fragilities and all the living things that inhabit it.
It is this attachment to what is already there that feeds our ambition: to support the transformation of territories without imposing a model, starting from what they are to reveal what they can become.
Hunnu City brought us together around this conviction.
Conceived as a regenerative city born of the Mongolian steppe, it led us to combine architecture, urban planning, climate, engineering and design to bring out a vision deeply rooted in its territory and yet turned towards the future.
Today, what was a project team becomes a long-term partnership.
Each member of M Group keeps its identity, its independence and its expertise. But we choose to pool our knowledge, our cultures and our ways of working, in a resolutely ecosystemic approach, across disciplines and scales.
Mongolia is our starting point.
We want to build a lasting presence there, alongside institutions, developers and local communities, and to continue on the path opened by Hunnu City.
But our ambition is also to go further: to bring this same approach to other territories in transformation, in Asia and beyond, where our complementary skills can contribute to their regeneration.
