What you need to know about me

27/09/2026

This video was not made to belittle or disrespect carpenters. It was simply made to educate, correct certain misconceptions, and help us understand the difference between the two professions.

Meanwhile, I would like to use this opportunity to encourage all artisans to be proud of and content with their various professions. I still find it disturbing whenever I see a carpenter claiming to be a roofer. That is not necessarily about doubling one’s hustle; sometimes, it can simply become selfishness and greed when we begin to take over another person’s profession.

I have been asked on several occasions if I also do woodworking, but I always decline because I know that carpentry is a different profession. Instead, I introduce such clients to competent carpenters.

There is nothing wrong with learning other skills, but let us also respect one another’s professions and give credit where it is due.

No offense intended. This is simply education and correction. May Allah bless all honest artisans in their various professions. #

A throwback to one of my roofing projects from over 7 years ago. 🏠

Looking back at this video reminds me of how far I’ve come. Even 7 years ago, I was already deeply committed to this craft and doing what I know and love best.

My journey in roofing actually started over 12years ago, and by Allah’s grace, these blessed hands have worked on and completed many roofing projects over the years.

It hasn’t been an easy journey, but Alhamdulillah for how far Allah has brought me. I’m still here, still active, still learning, and still pushing forward with the same passion and dedication.

May Allah crown our efforts with success and never allow us to labour in vain. 🤲
