Some projects stay with you.

We first met in 2022, when this house, and the life happening inside it, was just beginning to take shape.

Over the past four years, we have worked on it together, in all sorts of ways: from major transformations to the smallest improvements, always with the same extraordinary trust and enthusiasm for trying something new; adapting to new needs, new ideas, and, inevitably, a few “while we're at it…” moments along the way.

Now, as she prepares to leave the Netherlands and make new roots elsewhere, we are putting the final touches to the house before the notarial deed.

There is some sadness in saying goodbye to a project, and a relationship, that has meant so much to us. But mostly, there is gratitude: for the trust, for the conversations, for the countless decisions made together, and for having been part of this chapter.

We wish you a beautiful new journey and hope the next house gives you at least as many reasons to say “while we're at it…”.

✨ Design is often about recognising hidden potential.

These antique brass door handles were discovered in a small thrift shop — oxidised and covered by time.

Seeing their character and craftsmanship, we knew they would be perfect for a very special project. After carefully cleaning and restoring them by hand, they are now ready to be installed on the bespoke en-suite doors of our client’s home.

Small elements like these often bring the strongest sense of authenticity and personality to a space.🤍✨

When delays happen, solutions take shape!

This timelapse shows the hand-made construction of a dormer — not the original plan, but the right one.

Just days before delivery, the supplier informed us of a 3-month delay. For our clients, this wasn’t an option: they had already sold their previous home and were living in temporary accommodation while waiting to move in.

So we adapted.
Together with the renovation team, we decided to build the dormer on site, by hand — keeping the project moving and the clients’ timeline intact.

In renovation and real estate projects, problems are always around the corner. What truly matters is how you face them — with flexibility, creativity, and the client’s best interest always first.
