Tinshed Aviation Ltd Our goal and mission is to provide superior Aviation Services After purchasing ZK-BWG we transported her home and began its full restoration in our spare time.

Tinshed Aviation was formed when 3 mates Henry, Bryan and Arron decided to purchase and resurrect a Cessna 172M ZK-DNS that had sat around dismantled for several years. Following on from the 172, we discovered a PA18-90 Piper Cub that had sat in a Southland Woolshed for 21 years. This was when the name Tinshed was born as we were working out of a ‘Tinshed’. Sadly our great mate Henry passed away suddenly in 2022. It was later that year that the idea of making our passion into a business was born. With Henry at the forefront of our thoughts and the realisation that life is short we took the plunge and here we are. The name Tinshed Aviation was kept as a tribute to our mate who was there from the start and continues on in our daily thoughts.
