Im not sure if it is genetic, but Ive heard so many silly stories of my grandma out in her garden after dark, and my dad doesnt usually think of mowing the lawn until the sun is setting.....
Here I am grabbing some last minute blooms by headlight tonight, before the frost gets them 😆😉🩷.
You gotta do what you gotta do!

To everyone who is growing dahlias this year, keep enjoying them!

For those that bought tubers from me this spring, and might be new to dahlias- you dont have to dig them up until after a hard frost. After it freezes, i usually leave them for a week or 2 to let the energy and nutrients all move down into the tubers as much as possible ❤️.

"Everlasting" (Dried) flowers were not a thing I really considered doing when I started flower farming, but I have really learned a lot and enjoyed the new and different opportunities they provide me with ❤️!

Shifting gears over here...... But not slowing down 😵‍💫😬😆😉🍁🍂
I still have lots of healthy plants thriving and throwing gorgeous blooms, but I have some sales coming up, and really want to delve into some dried wreath making and projects!
NEW LOCATION** I'll have stuff at the Copper Nickel this month for the October sale (15th-18th).
And, the Northwoods Christmas Artisan Sale at the Siren school (put on by moms/more for kids) is already coming up the first weekend in November!!!!
So, mark your calendars, sync your schedules!
