Titirangi job recently completed.
This project included a custom benchseat (winow seat), laundry, and scullery, all designed to keep the look simple, warm, and practical. The house is surrounded by a beautiful green outlook, and the window seat was a nice way to make the most of that view.
For the laundry and scullery, I used 18mm birch plywood with white HPL fronts and tops for a clean look and lower maintenance. The upper cabinet and window seats were finished in stained birch with Osmo Polyx in Pine, which added a bit of deep warmth and contrast.
The laundry sink (from iKon) was CNC cut and flush-mounted, which helps keep the surface tidy and easy to clean.
Materials and hardware were chosen with durability in mind too, including birch plywood with WBP glue for better moisture resistance, along with Blum Tandembox drawers and Blum hinges.
A lovely project in a beautiful Titirangi setting.
