New Arrival // Carter's Cookbooks

This week we welcome back the work of Aotearoa-born creative Carter’s Cooking to Everyday Needs, alongside the latest issue of her ongoing series, Carter's Cookbook 3.

Her love of food began at nineteen following a formative visit to Greece, later leading her from running the beloved Auckland space Were Bros to sharing recipes with a global audience on Substack. Now in its third volume, the series continues to celebrate an intuitive approach to food and the quiet pleasure of cooking at home.

Thoughtfully brought to life with imagery by her twin sister, photographer Harry Were, these volumes offer a warm, inspiring presence for any kitchen shelf.

Photographed next door at our neighbour's beautiful restaurant, Ramen Takara, these pieces catch the light with quiet movement and character.

New additions include the Takasegawa Carafe and Highball Glass Gift Set, both inspired by the gentle ripples of Kyoto's Kamo-gawa River, alongside the Handmade Carrot Tumbler, individually blown to create a subtle amber glow. A few of our most-loved staples have also returned to our shelves, including tall and short stacking glasses, bedside carafes, and our full offering from Toyo-Sasaki Glass.
