Ten years on, and this Orewa home still looks as good as new 👏

When homeowner and architectural designer Bruce Campbell designed his own two-storey home, he was thinking beyond how it would look on completion. Longevity and reducing future maintenance were important considerations from the very beginning.

With the beach virtually in the backyard, the home's coastal location made choosing the right exterior materials even more important.

PALLISIDE® Weatherboards in Slate delivered the look Bruce wanted, while helping him avoid the prospect of regularly repainting a two-storey home.

As Bruce puts it: “As the house is two storey, I didn't fancy paying for scaffolding every so many years to repaint.”

A decade later, the home is proof that thoughtful design and carefully considered material choices can stand the test of time 🌟
