Big views require big canvases!

For a recent Falconer residential development at Jack's Point, Queenstown, Steve created something a little different.

Inspired by the spectacular landscapes surrounding the development, he extended his artwork across two separate canvases, creating one continuous scene.

Both pieces were printed on canvas and finished in float frames, giving the artwork a wonderful sense of scale.

It's the first time we've produced Steve's work in this format, and seeing the finished pieces in these gorgeous interiors has been a real highlight.

The team at Falconer, who developed the properties, shared these lovely words with us:

"Your artwork has brought character, depth and a sense of place to these interiors, helping create the welcoming alpine atmosphere I envisioned."

A big thank you to Falconer for trusting us with these projects and sharing these beautiful images.

Steve’s been back at work, and there are two new collections starting to take shape.

We’re not giving too much away just yet, but both are looking like they’ll have around 4–6 pieces.

Different, but still inspired by the Kiwi landscapes that feature in so much of Steve’s work.

More than 350 prints sold. Just two returned.

We’ve now sold around 350 Steve Ballantyne Art prints, so we thought we’d share a little number we’re rather proud of.

Of all those prints, just two have ever been returned for a refund, both by the same customer because the size wasn’t right for her space. Not because of quality, but we refunded her anyway.

The thing is, we’ve NEVER had a print returned for a refund because of its quality.

We put a lot of care into the quality of our printing, framing and finishing, and we want you to be genuinely happy with what ends up on your wall.

So while 99.4% is a pretty nice number, it’s the zero quality-related refunds we’re happiest about.

White walls are useful.

They give you somewhere to put the colour.

Deep blues, turquoise water, green hills, purple lupins, crimson pōhutukawa ... New Zealand isn’t exactly short of a good palette!

And you don’t have to change the sofa, repaint the room or embark on a full-blown renovation to bring more colour into it.

Sometimes one piece on the wall does plenty.
