Some flowers deserve a moment of your time. 💜

The irises are flowering, and I cannot help but stop and admire them every time I walk past.

Those delicate lavender petals, the little flashes of golden yellow, and the way the sunlight catches every fold. Nature really is quite extraordinary when you take the time to look closely.

One of the loveliest things about gardening is that there is always something worth stopping for.

A little reminder to wander slowly through your garden today. You might be surprised by what you notice.

I was looking through some old photos today and came across a few from 2016.

It was a couple of years after I'd become a solo mum, and I had my very own house for the first time.

I'm not entirely sure when I first started growing this particular tomato, but it blows my mind to think I've been growing it and saving its seeds for well over a decade!

And after all these years, it's still one of my absolute favourites. It's a good bloody tomato to have in the garden, especially if you love making your own sauces.

There's something rather wonderful about growing a tomato year after year, knowing that each new plant has come from seeds you've saved from the last.

We're celebrating the launch of our Love Grow Eat Tomato Collection, and we thought we'd share a little of the tomato love!

We've been busy growing a wonderful collection of tomatoes, from old-fashioned heirlooms and delicious cherry tomatoes to some rather unusual colours, shapes and varieties.

And we'd love to give **ONE lucky gardener SIX tomato plants** to grow in their garden this summer! 🌱

Come and pick tonight’s dinner with me! 🌱🥬

One of my favourite things about growing food is wandering out into the garden, seeing what’s ready to harvest and deciding what to make for dinner.

I love keeping things simple. A handful of fresh vegetables, a few herbs, some pantry staples and you’ve got the beginnings of something delicious.

No complicated recipes, no fancy ingredients. Just good, honest food, picked fresh and made into something lovely.

And that's what I love about growing your own. You don't always need to plan dinner around a recipe. Sometimes you can let the garden decide what's on the menu.
