Some plant combinations just make sense.
Buxus suffruticosa gives you the strong, clipped structure, while Leptinella ‘Platt’s Black’ sits underneath as a low-growing groundcover with dark, fine-textured foliage.
Together, they create a neat layered look without needing a complicated planting scheme. Great for borders, pathways, formal gardens or anywhere you want the planting to feel considered but easy to care for.
It’s also a good example of how choosing the right plants for the right place can do a lot of the design work for you.
