So sad to see this era of hand mixed glass end — and what a gift to the world all their output. I have just put together a panel with their 165 which we will never be produced again. So many great windows and art pieces with their glass simply cannot be matched or replicated.
There’s some gorgeous Kokomo glass going in the Catherine window Nicola Jackson is making with me in the studio and it now is all the more precious. So many of my projects could never have been so uniquely expressive without their wonderful one off mixtures, bubbles and textures. Bravo Kokomo for greatness since 1888.
