Neddy Steady Birthday Paella ❤️🥘

Birthday paella for my special girl.

Chicken, mussels, chorizo and leek for good measures. First crack with the new paella pan gifted to me by Damien Damian Murphy , and it fitted perfectly on the Cut co metal craft

Happy birthday wifey — hope you loved it. ❤️

# # # Neddy Steady Comfort Favourites ❄️

Cold days in the Manawatū call for proper comfort kai.

Today I've been craving curried mince topped with beautiful free-range eggs, finished with a drizzle of honey yoghurt sauce and plenty of crusty bread to mop it all up. Simple, hearty, and feeds the soul.

Big shout out to The Eggs Project for the absolutely delicious free-range eggs and yoghurt. Quality ingredients make all the difference.

What's your go-to comfort meal on a cold day?

Massive shout out to Stef the Maori Absolute legend, brother.

I came home feeling like it was Christmas, my birthday, and Easter all rolled into one! 🤯🎁

Thank you so much for this incredible gift. I'm beyond grateful and can't wait to put it to good use and create some meke content for everyone to enjoy.

Your generosity means a lot, bro. Truly appreciate you. ❤️🤝

THE FATS OF THE LAND x NEDDY STEADY COOK 🦌🔥

Here’s a little snippet of the sliders we served up at our Venison Paddock to Plate breakdown. with Damian Murphy

Delicious venison and lamb sliders, showcasing some of the beautiful kai that went onto the menu for the day.

Breaking down the cuts, cooking them up and bringing it all together from paddock to plate with a bunch of good buggars.

Chur to everyone who was part of an awesome day! 🤙

# # # Neddy Steady | Damo & Ned's Venison Paddock to Plate damien Damian Murphy

What an awesome event to be part of. Damo and I broke down a whole venison beast, then turned it into a full paddock-to-plate menu while showing where every cut comes from.

Nothing beats sharing good kai, good knowledge, and a few laughs with a top bunch of good buggars.

# # # Neddy Steady Friday Night Burger Review 🍔

Tonight we’re in New Plymouth and struck absolute gold.

The The Flying Pig Barbecue r was collabing with Funk Fish , so we got the best of both worlds.

We smashed the Double Brisket Cheeseburger and the Wagyu Triple Cheeseburger… and whanau, 30/10. These burgers absolutely blew my socks off.

We also tucked into the fish & chip medley with gurnard, snapper, lemon fish and double-cooked chips. Beautiful kai, awesome people, and a special evening with the whānau.

Highly recommend if you’re in Taranaki. 🍔🐟

Here's a quick look at some prime fallow venison heading away for a function.

For all my American followers… this isn't dog or rabbit 😂. Here in Aotearoa, fallow deer are a pest species, and controlled hunting helps keep numbers down and protect our beautiful whenua.
