We’ve got some exciting news to share! Our team member Noah Jaunay has won the 2026 Emerging Talent – Youth Award at the recent FCANZ Industry Awards in Nelson.
Noah moved from the North Island to Central Otago at just 18 to join Precise Fencing, with no previous fencing experience. He brought a can-do attitude from day one and, over the past four years, has grown enormously in both skill and confidence. He’s developed an eye for detail, approaches challenges with a practical mindset and has embraced every opportunity to learn and improve.
The judging panel highlighted his practical ability, initiative and problem-solving skills, the pride he takes in his work and the way he helps others develop – qualities we see in him on the job every day.
Congratulations to fellow finalists James Richards of HB Fencing and Tom Kerley of T Garrick Fencing. Both are talented young fencers and made for fierce competition!
Thank you to FCANZ - Fencing Contractors New Zealand for bringing our industry together to celebrate its people, and for the work you do to support the next generation of fencers. Thanks also to Stockade NZ for Noah’s prize, a staple gun that will certainly be put to use!
We’re proud to have Noah on our team. His dedication, integrity and commitment to his craft make this award so well deserved. Congratulations, Noah!
