🏆 Another year, more awards to add to the collection!

IMS has once again had a fantastic result at the Advanced Textiles Association - New Zealand Conference, taking home 5 awards across three projects.

Our winning entries included:

👏 Cloudburst Dam – Highly Commended
🏆 Cloudburst Dam – People’s Choice Award
👏 Upholstery of a Horse Carriage – Highly Commended

These awards are a great reflection of the hard work, innovation and attention to detail that goes into what our team does every day.

From developing innovative helicopter equipment through to specialist canvas and upholstery work, our team continues to find new ways to design, manufacture and improve products for our customers.

A huge congratulations to everyone at IMS who contributed to these projects and helped make these results possible. It’s fantastic to see the work of our team recognised by the industry.

Look at these Before and After photos!

This old sun lounger came in, looking under the weather, and the client asked will it recover? We said not only will it re-cover, but we will also give it a whole new lease on life.

The IMS Canvas team stripped it right back to the bones and gave it a full re-cover in a fresh light blue, hard-wearing outdoor fabric.

Frost on the windscreen? Not anymore.

This shade sail doesn't just take care of the summer sun, it keeps the winter frost off your car too.

For this client, frosty mornings used to mean 10 minutes with an ice scraper before you could even see out the windscreen. Now the car sits under cover, and that frost simply doesn't get a chance to form. One shade sail, sorted for every season.

Big things take time… and this one is now ready to roll out 👀

After plenty of fabrication, HF welding, stitching, and finishing work from the team, the final 9x6m gazebo is now complete and ready to head out the door.

Plenty of measuring, cutting, welding, and stitching … but we think this one’s going to be worth the wait.

Here’s a small sneak peek from the build process as the team gets busy hot air welding heavy-duty PVC for a custom project currently underway.
