Customtone Kitchens had the privilege to craft the bespoke joinery throughout this recent Beach Home project, bringing warmth, refinement and effortless style to every space.

This home features Taj Mahal stone and American Walnut & American White Oak veneer, carried throughout the home. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry creates a seamless flow, while crisp white tile flooring complements the natural tones and brings the entire interior together with warmth, and refined impact.

From the Workshop to the Community!

A big shout-out to Sam, our apprentice, who recently completed a two-week block course through BCITO at WINTEC learning the craft of using glulam techniques to build a curved cabinet out of plywood, MDF and solid pine to create curved forms giving the cabinet a cleaner, more balanced look.
Sam shared “I also practised writing specifications from a client’s point of view, paying close attention to how someone would actually see and experience the finished work. Thinking that way has made me think more critically about projects as a whole.”
Sam is excited to bring these new skills back into the Customtone factory and applying these techniques to future projects alongside the wider team.
Sam kindly donated his finished curved bedside table on behalf of Customtone Kitchens to an Ōtorohanga local to enjoy and use.
Well, done, Sam. We’re proud to see your workmanship and ongoing learnings making an awesome impact in the workshop!
