I have been a little quiet on social media lately.
To be perfectly honest, I have been struggling with sickness and fatigue and have been making a conscious effort to spend less time on my electronic devices. I know many people around me are doing the same.
But there is something else I have been struggling with, and that is social media itself.
Posting has started to feel more like something I have to do to attract business, rather than a creative outlet I genuinely enjoy.
From a business point of view, I understand the importance of being visible, but I am finding social media less and less inspiring.
So much of the content feels the same. The endless advice, the “10 things you should know before renovating” type of posts, and the feeling that we all need to keep posting to stay relevant.
I actually find Pinterest far more interesting when looking for creative inspiration. I simply enjoy looking at beautiful spaces, appreciating the creativity and individuality, without always needing an explanation or advice.
I love interior design. I love the creativity, the individuality of every home, the people I meet and the process of bringing everything together.
And I would love to share more of what genuinely interests and inspires me, rather than simply posting because I feel I should.
So I am curious.
What do you actually enjoy seeing from me and D for Design Interior Design?
I would genuinely love to hear what interests and inspires you.
Perhaps it is time to approach social media a little differently. ❤️
