New Building Review for
Mike Foothead Building Contractors Ltd

New build in Waikanae

“Building a new house is like having surgery. The stakes are high and you are required to have faith in an unknown expert and trust that it will turn out well in the end.
Mike was recommended to me by a colleague who reported that he was well regarded in the industry, communicated regularly during the build and produced quality work. Mike is a safe pair of hands who worked diligently and with good humour. Communication was easy and Mike kept the project running smoothly. I am really happy with my new home and Mike has also been prompt with follow-up down the track when needed. Highly recommended “

This was a new build built on a sloping site on the Waikanae hill with great kapiti views on the clients section.

Having a great client to build for makes the build enjoyable , Building a new home is a huge undertaking, and I really appreciate the trust you placed in me and the team throughout the process.

It was a pleasure working with you, and I’m delighted to hear that you’re so happy with your new home. Keeping communication clear, the build running smoothly, and delivering quality workmanship are things we take great pride in.

I’m also glad we’ve been able to help with anything that’s come up since completion. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation — it was a pleasure being part of your home-building journey.

It is very special to be able to get the trust from a new client to build a new family home with their life savings, and it’s extremely special to get a repeat customer and build another architectural home again a few years down the track for them again in the Heart of Waikanae
Manu Park.

Great customer relations goes a long way .
These clients new exactly what they wanted and new how to go about it .
Very enthusiastic with their fingers on the pulse and great input through out the building process.
It was a pleasure working with you both.

From a very good client
We built a New architectural home in some challenging conditions on a sloped section in Waikanae .
We love bringing the dream of the clients plans into reality onto their section.
Satisfaction .

"Mike built my home in Kapiti in 2024. The build went smoothly, ran on time and to budget. Mike communicated well with me throughout the build (e.g., sending photos and videos), took responsibility for sorting out any problems that arose and was flexible with minor changes. I would build with him again!"

Thanks
