Pak Choi between the Garlic and Potatoes are loving it in the sunshine. Pak Choi 'Shanghai Green' is a highly popular, open-pollinated heirloom variety in New Zealand, prized for its beautiful spoon-shaped, jade-green leaves and thick, pale green stems.

Unlike traditional white-stemmed varieties, it stays compact (growing up to roughly 20cm) and delivers a mild, sweet flavour perfect for steaming, fresh salads, or stir-fries.

Buttercrunch lettuce next to the potatoes is our top salad, new lettuce seedlings ready to plant soon can't wait garden fresh is best and chemical free like it always was in our parents and grandparents day.

This lettuce has been a consistent performer for gardeners for over 50 years. It won the prestigious All-America Selections award for its heat tolerance and resistance to bolting when released in 1963.
