A little Studio Gibson update ✨
A few months ago, I stepped into a new chapter and took over Upstaged as the new owner — and it’s fair to say life has been pretty full ever since!
Alongside continuing my interior design work through Studio Gibson, I’m now leading a wonderful team and spending my days transforming homes ready for market.
It’s actually been such a natural fit. With my background in interior design, graphic design, marketing, styling and airbnb hosting, home staging brings together so many of the things I love — creating beautiful spaces, working with people, and looking at a home through a slightly different lens.
There’s also been a lovely crossover between the two businesses. Staging has sharpened the way I think about space, flow, scale and how a room photographs, while Studio Gibson allows me to take those ideas further and create spaces designed for the people who actually live in them.
It’s been busy, a little bit crazy at times, and there’s been plenty to learn — but I’m really enjoying this new chapter and seeing where both businesses take me.
