Have you ever wondered why you see sheets of ply nailed over new houses before cladding is installed? This is ecoply barrier RAB board or ridged air barrier. This is used when extra bracing is needed or if there is need to close the building so you can do work inside dry while the outside is still being clad. The additional advantage is that this seals the building better than a building paper especially when you have a cavity system which you’ll will see coming up on this project.
