I had always thought of giving my dear friends a painting as a wedding gift. I kept thinking, what if it was a painting that could serve as a memento of one of the happiest days of their lives?
So, I decided to paint one of their prenup photos. Mustering the courage to start painting was difficult since it was my first time painting people on a large canvas, especially because they are friends whom I deeply cherish. I just had to do it.
It may not be a perfect replica of the photo, but I know their love for each other is far greater than anything that could ever be captured on canvas.
