Together with PEPTarsus,Corp., Pastry Alliance of the Philippines and LTB Philippines Chefs Association, we welcome you to the Philippine Culinary Cup. This is the most prestigious international Culinary Competition in the country, being the ONLY (WACS) World Association of Chef Societies-endorsed Continental competition to be held in the Philippines. WACS approved judges all over the world will ensure all entries will be judged according to international culinary standards and share their comments with participants throughout the event. The competition will focus on professional skill development with importance to practicality and use of contemporary cooking and serving techniques.

CHEF SHARWIN TEE has made a name for himself in many areas of culinary interests. His own venture, Little Grace Dining, is slowly but surely putting Tsinoy cuisine in the food map. He is also widely known for his television shows, his very interesting and informative books and for his unique take on common dishes. CHEF DINO DATU heads the operations of Ted’s Hospitality Group that includes Ted’s Kitchen/Aurora Filipino Cuisine, Ted’s Warehouse Events Venue and Ted’s Bed and Breakfast. He and his wife, Chef Gel Salonga-Datu actively promote the culinary traditions and artisanal products through their work with Slow Food Community Laguna. Chef Dino was the editor in chief of Cook Magazine for several years and, today, continues to write not just about food but other areas of interest.

CHEF GEL SALONGA-DATU is on a mission to preserve and promote the cuisine and culinary culture of her home province of Laguna. She is a founding member of Slow Food Community Laguna and is active in their advocacy. Chef Gel was part of the Philippine delegation at the recent Terra Madre Salone del Gusto in Turin, Italy where she once again represented the rich culinary traditions, biodiversity and unique ingredients of her community. Widely known for her luscious Bibingka Cheesecake, Chef Gel has over 13 years of experience as pastry chef. Together with her husband, Chef Dino Datu, they run Ted’s Kitchen in Santa Cruz, Laguna.

CHEF MAVERICK JAVIER or simply Chef Mav won Chef of the Year at the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup (PCC), the only WorldChefs-certified culinary competition in the Philippines. It was a dream come true for this young chef who had been competing in PCC since 2015. He is currently the corporate executive chef of Rekado Global Food Solutions where he puts his talents, creativity and management skills into very good use. Chef Mav is an active member of LTB Philippines Chefs Association and is a WorldChefs rookie judge.
