Terracotta is traditionally associated with rustic aesthetics. Yet materials have no fixed visual identity because their perception is shaped by the context in which they exist.

Paired with fine natural textiles, contemporary cutlery, minimalist glassware or stainless steel trays, terracotta takes on a different expression. The contrast between textures, finishes and forms creates a composition that feels warm, understated and contemporary.

The material remains the same. What changes is the dialogue between the elements.

Today, as we celebrate ten years of POEMI, we’re looking back on a decade filled with lessons, challenges, unexpected turns, and countless reasons to be grateful.

When we founded POEMI, we didn’t have a clearly defined vision. But somewhere along the way, our purpose found us: to make Romanian craftsmanship known, valued, and loved all over the world.

And today, we’re taking another meaningful step in that direction.

What started as a dream rooted in Romanian craftsmanship can now cross borders and find its way into homes and hearts around the world.

This year marks 10 years of POEMI.

Ten years of shaping clay by hand, of exploring textures, glazes and forms. Ten years of creating objects designed to be lived with and passed on. Ten years of crafting inspiring canvases for chefs and restaurants around the world.

To celebrate this milestone, we are opening our website to customers worldwide.

POEMI pieces can now be shipped to more than 40 countries.

Every piece is still handcrafted in our workshop in Sibiu, Transylvania, then carefully packaged and shipped with FedEx, fully tracked to ensure it arrives safely.

Here's to the next ten years ✨️
