Meet Jatropha marginata 🌿

Native to the dry landscapes of Somalia, this unusual caudiciform is all about character. Its rugged, swollen base and slender, spiny stems give it a sculptural silhouette that feels almost otherworldly.

A little botanical oddity for those who appreciate plants beyond the ordinary.

Discover this distinctive beauty at Plant Folks.

Gorgeous Stephania Nova, with a wonderfully unusual, animal-like caudex that almost looks like a little rabbit emerging from the soil. 🌿

Its rugged, sculptural caudex paired with those round, deep green coloured leaves and delicate veining gives this little plant so much character.

A living sculpture in its own right, and a reminder of just how wonderfully creative nature can be.

For those who see plants a little differently. 💚

Come see this beauty at Plant Folks, Joo Chiat.

Our Monsonia just gave us a beautiful little bloom today. 🌸

She hasn’t quite had any shut-eye these past few months, and we’ve been wondering when — or if — she would finally bloom.

But what do you know? She decided to surprise us today and made our day. 🌿

A little reminder from her to slow down, take your time, and let things happen at their own pace.

Cheers, everyone. The day is almost over — go slow, take a breath, and enjoy the little things.

Native to the arid Karoo region of South Africa’s Eastern Cape, Euphorbia obesa is a fascinating subtropical succulent.

Often nicknamed the Baseball Plant, its distinctive round shape and subtle ridges give it a character all its own.

With its sculptural silhouette and understated beauty, Euphorbia obesa is a timeless favourite among succulent collectors and a little living sculpture in its own right.

Adapted to the dry conditions of its native habitat, its naturally rounded form is designed to store water, making it as remarkable as it is unusual.

Another classic plant drop at our studio. 🌿

Native to the tropical rainforests of South America, its striking orange petioles create a beautiful contrast against its deep green foliage.

Grown and styled here at Plant Folks, paired with an equally beautiful artisan pot from our signature collection.
