The master suite took a different route, and honestly, we like it.

Instead of carrying the light oak palette into the bedroom, this space goes all in on walnut first. Then comes the terracotta. A little at the vanity, a little more in the bathroom with the floating cabinet and geometric floor tiles.

The trick is letting the colours play off each other.

If this home had a colour season, it would definitely be Autumn. 🍂 Chocolate browns, deep amber, terracotta, earthy tones and rich textures. Basically, all the warm and cosy things we love about Autumn, brought indoors.

Knock it down. Open it up. Make it work harder.

That was the thinking behind four renovation moves in this home: opening up the living areas, carving out a proper dining space, turning a full-length wall into a fully equipped study, and adding a sliding door between the dry and wet kitchens.

The best renovation decisions are the ones you keep appreciating long after the renovation is done.
