Flip the switch. 💡

A brand-new BTO studio apartment, and nothing in the original was touched. We custom-built the dining area in carpentry to suit the family, then added glass windows and a glass door to the kitchen so the space stays light and connected.

No cookie-cutter. Every Singapore interior design project starts with one question: what does this family need this space to do?

Your reno budget didn’t blow itself. Here’s what actually happened.
After 20 years, these are the three things we see derail budgets on almost every project, hacking surprises, late carpentry changes, and going in with zero contingency buffer.
At Kees Studio, we talk about all of this before we even draw a single line. Because protecting your budget is part of good design.

The arch wasn’t just a design choice. It was the moment the whole room found its character.
Floor-to-ceiling charcoal joinery. Hidden storage. An arched passage that makes you feel like you’re walking into something intentional.
This is Dover Park View. Dark, dramatic, and completely considered.
If this is the feeling you want for your home — you know where to find us.

Open concept kitchen — yes or no?

Honestly, it depends on how you actually live.

The number one thing we ask every client — how often do you cook, and how do you cook? Wok hei, curry, frying daily? That smell and oil will travel into your living room and into your carpentry.

But if you rarely cook, or your BTO already comes without a kitchen door — spending on one might not make sense for you.

No right or wrong answer. Just design that works for how YOU actually live.
