“บ้านแห่งความทรงจำ และพื้นที่สีเขียวที่ซ้อนทับกลางเมือง”
เมื่อบ้านต้องดำรงอยู่ท่ามกลางความหนาแน่นของเมือง
ธรรมชาติจึงไม่ได้ถูกวางไว้เพียง “รอบบ้าน”
แต่ถูกนำมาเป็น "หัวใจของบ้าน"
VP House ถูกออกแบบขึ้นท่ามกลางบริบทเดิมและความทรงจำของครอบครัว เพื่อเป็นบ้านพักอาศัยร่วมกันระหว่าง สถาปนิกผู้ออกแบบและคุณแม่วัยเกษียณ
โจทย์สำคัญจึงไม่ใช่เพียงการจัดวางฟังก์ชันสำหรับคนสองช่วงวัย แต่คือการสร้างสภาวะการอยู่อาศัยที่เป็นส่วนตัว สงบ และน่าสบาย พร้อมเชื่อมโยงชีวิตประจำวันเข้ากับธรรมชาติ
แทนที่จะเปิดบ้านออกสู่บริบทโดยรอบ สถาปัตยกรรมเลือกที่จะ เปิดเข้าหาธรรมชาติภายใน ผ่านคอร์ตสวนแนวลึกที่สอดแทรกอยู่กลางอาคาร ทำหน้าที่นำแสงธรรมชาติ ลม และพื้นที่สีเขียวเข้าสู่ทุกส่วนของบ้าน
พื้นที่สีเขียวถูกซ้อนทับและไต่ระดับขึ้นไปในแต่ละชั้น เชื่อมต่อพื้นที่ Indoor และ Outdoor ให้เกิดเป็นสภาวะต่อเนื่องระหว่างสถาปัตยกรรม ธรรมชาติ และการอยู่อาศัย
แสง เงา ลม และต้นไม้ จึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงองค์ประกอบประกอบฉาก แต่กลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของประสบการณ์ในชีวิตประจำวัน
จากบ้านที่ถูกโอบล้อมด้วยเมือง
สู่บ้านที่สร้าง บริบทภายในของตัวเองขึ้นมา

“Home of Memory and Layered Green Spaces in the City”
When a house is surrounded by the density of the city,
nature is not simply placed around the house—
it becomes the heart of the house itself.
VP House emerges from an existing urban context deeply connected to the family’s memories. The house is designed as a shared dwelling for an architect and his retired mother.
The challenge was therefore not simply to accommodate the needs of two generations, but to create a private, calm, and comfortable living environment while maintaining a continuous connection between everyday life and nature.
Rather than opening directly toward its dense surroundings, the architecture turns inward, opening toward nature within.
A deep planted courtyard is inserted into the center of the house, bringing natural light, air, and greenery into the interior. Green spaces are layered and vertically distributed across the floors, creating a continuous relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Light, shadow, air, and vegetation are therefore not merely supporting elements, but become an integral part of everyday living.
From a house surrounded by the city
to a house that creates its own internal context.
