An avid, environmentally-conscious home farmer in his spare time, OPCOM Founder and CEO Jack Ting passionately believes in the power of hydroponic farming to produce healthier plants while reducing costs and conserving land, energy and water. Leveraging OPCOM’s proprietary LED technology, a key ingredient for indoor growing, he led development of products to enable consumers to grow hydroponically in their homes. OPCOM Farm was designed to create products that enable everyone—from seniors and urban dwellers, to foodies and families—to enjoy delicious, pesticide-free sustainably-grown produce. Utilizing the company’s camera technology expertise, professional level remote-operated units are also in development to take OPCOM to the next level as a participant in the hydroponic revolution.
