🚨 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO BURNEY HARDWARE 🚨

We’re excited to share some big changes coming to our Aberdeen Annex as we continue looking for ways to better serve our customers and our community.

After careful consideration, Burney Hardware will be exiting the equipment rental business.

This decision allows us to put even more focus on two things we believe we do extremely well:

🔧 Serving our retail customers and expanding our equipment repair and maintenance services

🌲 Creating an entirely new outdoor living destination in our Annex

We’re completely reinventing the Annex and making room for some exciting new product lines, including:

🔥 Weber Grills
🔥 recteq Grills
🪑 Trex Outdoor Furniture

And there’s MANY more exciting brands to come that we can't announce just yet!

For our outdoor power equipment customers, we aren’t going anywhere. Burney Hardware will continue to sell and service S**g mowers and STIHL outdoor power equipment, with an increased focus on providing great service and keeping your equipment running.

What happens to our rental equipment?

Our entire rental fleet will be sold through Iron Horse Auction Company in an online auction running October 15–22.

For customers who still need rental equipment, we’ve spoken with Richmond Rentals in Southern Pines. They’re a great local business, and we’re confident they’ll take excellent care of our rental customers.

We will not accept new rental reservations after September 30.

We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead. The goal is to transform our Annex into a place where you can find inspiration, products and expertise to make your backyard, patio and outdoor spaces something special.

Same Burney Hardware. Same commitment to service. An exciting new chapter ahead.

Stay tuned — we can’t wait to show you what we’re building!

🪑 Coming soon to Burney Hardware: Trex® Outdoor Furniture!

We're now an official Trex Outdoor Furniture dealer, and our first shipment is on the way — arriving in Aberdeen and Seven Lakes in the next couple of weeks.

Trex furniture is built from solid HDPE lumber made from recycled plastics — think milk jugs turned into the comfiest chair on your porch. It won't rot, splinter, or crack, and it stands up to moisture, insects, salt spray, and sun. Cleanup is soap and water — no painting, no staining, no sealing, ever. It's backed by a 20-year residential warranty and it's made right here in the USA.

What we'll be stocking:
✅ Adirondack chairs in a range of colors
✅ Rocking chairs
✅ Side and accent tables

And what we can get you: anything in the Trex Outdoor Furniture line — Yacht Club, Cape Cod, Monterey Bay, Rockport, and Eastport collections, dining sets, deep seating, swings, chaise lounges, fire pit tables, umbrellas — with short lead times.

Keep an eye on this page — we'll let you know the day it hits the floor. 👀
