Two Albuquerque icons. One remarkable century. ✨

In 2026, Hotel Parq Central celebrates 100 years alongside Historic Route 66—a fitting milestone for a landmark that has traveled its own extraordinary road.

Originally built as a hospital in 1926, the property underwent an extensive four-year renovation that transformed the historic building into Hotel Parq Central as it stands today. Studio SW Architects is proud to have played a significant architectural role in preserving its historic character while helping give this Albuquerque landmark a vibrant new life.

A century of history, preservation and hospitality—and still welcoming guests from around the world.
