Finally Friday! 🙌 Still have a few finishing touches left, but my son’s playroom is coming together nicely!

This room used to be my parents’ bedroom, and it’s where my mom suffered an asthma attack 17 years ago this week. Tragically, she passed away on October 28, 2009.
When I purchased the home from my dad, I knew I wanted to give this room a new purpose and fill it with happy memories. Turning it into a playroom for my son felt like the perfect way to do that. ❤️
And let’s just say, my son has plenty of toys! Half of which are still at his auntie and uncles house 😆 I’m not raising a screen baby in my household. I want him to use his imagination, play, explore, and just be a kid!
Taking a room that holds such painful memories and transforming it into a space filled with laughter, fun, and new memories makes this project extra special. ❤️
