🥝 Dreaming of fresh kiwi from your own backyard?

Growing kiwi is one of the most rewarding gardening projects for patient growers. Once established, these vigorous vines can produce delicious fruit for years while creating beautiful green coverage on a fence, pergola, or trellis.

Here are a few things every new kiwi grower should know:

🌿 Kiwi vines love full sun for the best fruit production.

💧 Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during warm weather.

🪴 Give your vine a sturdy trellis or arbor, it loves to climb.

✂️ Annual pruning helps encourage healthier growth and better harvests.

⏳ Kiwi plants reward patience. It may take a few seasons before you enjoy your first harvest, but it’s worth every wait.

At Fam Plants, we love helping families grow more than gardens. We help them grow memories.

🌿 Alocasias have a reputation for being “difficult”... but most problems come from just a few simple mistakes.

If you’re bringing one home for the first time, remember these three basics:

☀️ Give it bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while low light may slow growth.

💧 Don’t water on a schedule. Check the soil first. Water only when the top inch feels dry to help prevent root rot.

💦 Humidity is your friend. Alocasias naturally thrive in tropical environments, so higher humidity helps keep their beautiful leaves healthy.

With the right care, these stunning plants reward you with dramatic foliage that instantly transforms any space.

Save this post so you’ll always remember the basics of Alocasia care.

Think this plant eats people? 😄 Don’t worry, it only has room on the menu for insects! 🪴

Meet the incredible Pitcher Plant (Nepenthes), one of nature’s most fascinating creations.

Its colorful “pitchers” aren’t flowers, they’re specialized leaves designed to attract insects. Once an insect slips inside, the plant naturally digests it to absorb valuable nutrients, an amazing adaptation that helps it thrive in nutrient-poor environments.

If you’ve been looking for a plant that’s both beautiful and fascinating, the Pitcher Plant might be your next favorite.

Have you ever seen one in person?

🩷 Wait... blueberries can be pink?

Most people have never seen a Pink Lemonade Blueberry until they spot one growing on the plant, and it’s always a fun surprise.

Unlike traditional blueberries, these berries ripen into a beautiful pink color while offering a sweet, mild flavor that many gardeners love eating fresh right off the bush.

Beyond the fruit, they’re also an eye-catching addition to patios, edible landscapes, or backyard gardens. Watching the berries change from green to bright pink makes growing them just as rewarding as harvesting them.

If you’ve been thinking about adding something unique to your garden this season, this variety is definitely worth considering.

We currently have Pink Lemonade Blueberry plants available while supplies last.
