We’ve had incredible success with the release of our 4-Wick Dough Bowl Candles, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how much you all have embraced them!

But we’ve also been listening to your feedback, and one thing we’ve heard is that some of you really prefer having a lid on your candles. We’ve also learned that while many of you LOVE the cozy crackle of our wood wicks, others prefer a quieter burn.

So… we’ve been kicking around a new idea! 👀

Our fragrance sprays have been off the market for the past 3 months or so while we have been reformulating to give it that crystal clear formula we've been shooting for, and working them into new elevated packaging to match the rest of the catalog.

Branded now simply as Body Mists, we have released our 6 most refined/complex blends that work perfectly as a skin safe fragrance for everyday use including an all new fragrance called Dogwood Blanc.

Dogwood Blanc is
A fresh woody-floral fragrance blending delicate white blossoms with smooth woods, soft patchouli and an airy, polished finish. Think crisp white linens, pale woods and the subtle scent of an elegant boutique hotel lobby.

Also in the lineup we have Mountain Magic, Sea Salt, Amber Rouge, October Woods, and Mahogany Teakwood.

Mountain Magic has been part of Fernberry since the very beginning, and 4 years later, it continues to be our best-selling soap. At this point, we need to keep at least 30 pounds of Mountain Magic bars curing at any given time. In fact, next week, another 40 bars are heading out the door to Our State Magazine!

There’s just something about this fragrance. 🍎🌸 Sweet, nostalgic and unmistakably happy, Mountain Magic blends ripe apple, cherry blossom and sweet florals into one of those scents that somehow feels familiar the very first time you smell it.

But there’s also a little story behind the name.

It came from the 1986 Dolly Parton movie A Smoky Mountain Christmas. Dolly plays country singer Lorna Davis, and early in the film she’s traveling through the mountains while working out a new song called “Mountain Magic.” The movie credits the song as written and performed by Dolly herself.

Nearly 40 years after that movie aired—and from the very beginning of Fernberry—that little bit of Mountain Magic felt like the perfect name for a fragrance inspired by the place we call home. 🏔️

Our soap has had so many packaging makeovers over the years, and this one feels extra special. 🖤

As Fernberry has grown, so has our ability to invest in the little details—and we’re SO excited to finally be able to package our handcrafted soaps in their very own boxes!

It’s a cleaner, more polished look that still feels unmistakably Fernberry, but it’s also about function. The new packaging will help protect each bar, keep retail displays and store shelves cleaner, and make our soaps even easier to merchandise.

We’ve dreamed about making this upgrade for a long time.

The new boxes will begin rolling out to our retailers immediately , and we can’t wait to see them sitting on store shelves. 🌿

Sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day of running Fernberry that we forget to stop and recognize just how far we’ve come. Between pouring candles, making soap, packing orders, and keeping up with production, some of our biggest victories have a way of sneaking up on us. 🖤

This year alone, we’ve fulfilled over 200 wholesale orders, sending little pieces of Fernberry to retailers and communities across the country.

But recently, we learned something that made us stop for a moment.

Faire, one of the world’s leading wholesale marketplaces, shared that 14 Fernberry products have ranked among the top percentiles of reordered products in their respective Candle and Bath & Body categories.

And even more exciting? THREE of our candles have earned a spot in the TOP 5% of reordered candles on Faire!

And yes, that’s across Faire’s global marketplace!

As a small, independently owned business tucked away in the mountains of North Carolina, it’s sometimes hard to comprehend just how far our products have traveled and how many people have welcomed Fernberry into their homes.

Our production studio and office will be undergoing some renovations beginning tomorrow, Friday, August 14!

While the work is underway, our production and office space will be temporarily out of commission, which means we will be unable to produce or fulfill orders until next week. We’re hoping to have everything put back together and be back up and running by Tuesday, August 18.

If you have an order currently in our queue, we appreciate your patience as we make these improvements to the space where every Fernberry product is made, packed, and shipped.

We’ve been a little quiet lately—and we wanted to let you know why.

It’s not because we’ve been ignoring our amazing community. Quite the opposite.

July brought an amount of growth to Fernberry that we never could have imagined. Thanks to everyone who discovered us during Faire Market, we welcomed an incredible number of new wholesale partners across the country, making July our highest-grossing month in company history by a landslide.

To say we’re humbled would be an understatement.

Historically, Fernberry doesn’t reach its peak sales until November, when the holiday season is in full swing. That’s why July’s incredible growth caught us completely by surprise. We certainly weren’t expecting to break company records in the middle of summer, and we’re beyond grateful for every retailer and customer who helped make it happen.

Since then, our days have been spent pouring candles, making soap, packing orders, and doing everything we can to get products into the hands of our new retail partners. We’re still digging our way through orders, but we couldn’t be more grateful for your patience and support.

While we’ve had our heads down in production, we’ve also been working behind the scenes on something we’re incredibly excited about for our fourth-quarter release.

We’ve developed our own from-scratch, vegetable-based liquid soap, made right here at Fernberry. This versatile base will become an entire collection of products, including:

🫧 Foaming Hand Soap
🫧 All-Purpose Counter & Surface Cleaner
🫧 Powder-Based Laundry Detergent

Our goal is simple: create products that make your home and body smell incredible while cleaning effectively—without relying on harsh chemicals like ammonia or bleach.

This is just the beginning. As we head into the fourth quarter, we can’t wait to share these new products with you, along with a few more surprises we have in store.
