There are two guiding principles behind our work at Chairloom: 1. The value of being found — we cherish the craftsmanship and good bones beneath faded and timeworn textiles. 2. The importance of and possibility inherent in second chances. We specalize in sourcing vintage and antique seating which we offer for sale along with expert reupholstery and restoration serivces. We have a constantly evolving textile library on view in our showroom, enabling our clients to reinvent their heirlooms—or ours—customizing each piece from head to toe. We also specialize in building and upholstering completely customized new furniture.

Garden Matrix is our bleach-cleanable, sustainable performance textile, woven from nearly 50% post-consumer recycled materials. The colorway here is DENIM on a vintage Adrian Pearsall accent chair and it’s headed to a child’s room for its next life.

The large-scale botanical gingham & plaid pattern is overlaid with botanical forms making it both gridded and organic. The pattern repeat is: 27.75”W x 32”H, which gives you opportunities to create individual moments on a piece without a visible repeat.
